So someone asked me if they can use apple cider vinegar to replicate the effect of the Hei Ba Gao. I think it does. Vinegar has a shrinking effect. The Hei Ba Gao uses black rice vinegar and apple cider is also a vinegar. I will try some and update. But I do know that too much vinegar on the skin is very drying. They have changed the name of the Hei Ba Gao black paste to Black Scar Masque. Same thing to me.

5 years on, my friend. I now know that keloids, like all scars, will be forever part of you. Some enlightened person told me its my karma. I have injured someone in my past lives. It is now my turn to suffer the same type of disfigurement. Treatment? Its on and off. Only when I feel pain or when the keloids are growing. Otherwise I just leave them alone. After stopping for a few months, I am back on the Hei Ba Gao again. I dont like it but I miss it. It troublesome but it somehow soothes the keloids. Makes them softer. I can swing my arms futher and not feel restrained when playing golf.

Remodeled keloid
Its been years since I last posted the update which I had promised. For this I am sorry. You know what's its like. Priorities changes, lifestyle momentum changes, everything changes everything. I didnt know I had this blog until one day when I was trying to move contents to my new computer. Yes, yes, I know, I have used the dinosaur computer for years. Anyway my keloid has reduced in size to about half. I used the Hei Ba Gao on and off. Dont't really have the time to apply it daily like I was supposed to. As I am into bodybuilding, the Hei Ba Gao is of tremendous help. It keeps the keloid across my chest soft, making it easier to do bench press and other chest exercises. Without the Hei Ba Gao, it would be almost impossible to stretch my chest further. And it would be very painful and/or itchy after exercises. The people at The Jamu Shop cautioned me that doing heavy chest expanding exercises will stimulate further growth. But I just cant give up my favourite past time. Anyway, I am already glad that the keloid is half its size now. I hope to get a pic up soon. be well y'all.

Forum
Well, I knew about the Hei Ba Gao off a website when somebody was recommending it. But I noticed that there's some individuals who kept saying that Chinese medicine is not effective and its crap. Who are these people? From what I can tell, they must be very unhappy people, people who cannot think straight. On the other hand, they are those who find this treatment controversial. The Jamu Shop is always asking others not to dopt surgery as an option, I am not surprised some Western doctors are upset with them. But whatever it is, I will always be grateful I found this black goo. My keloids are smaller and softer now. My only regret is to trust a doctor friend to inject my face keloid, not once but seven times over the course of 2 years. It is now quite large. Because of its location, using the Hei Ba Gao may not be feasible.

Hei Ba Gao
This black gooey stuff they call Hei Ba Gao, ala Black Paste smells kind of strange. A family member got it for me. I thought about it for a long time if I am going to put some black goo on my keloids. Is it really going to help? Torment over and I plastered a small part of my lovely red, angry keloids with the black goo. OOOO..it felt like its doing something to the lovely keloids. It seems to be eating my keloids..feels kinda tingling. Half and hour has passed and it now dries to a paste. I am drowsy and now will try it it helps me to sleep with the mind shattering pain. I turned to my sides, lef and right and then right and left. Didn't feel no nothing. Can't feel that my keloids are there..hmmmm...ZZZZZ...zzzzzz..
Chinese medicine
Ok, now. I have heard so many stuff about the Chinese creations of a keloid medicine. They call it the Hei Ba Gao and the Ba Hen Ling at www.thejamushop.com. I am going to ive it a shot. To try it and see if it even alleviates my torment. Without any medication, do you now that keloids can itch like a thousand ants biting you. I scratched and scratched until pieces of skin fall off onto the bed. Well, maybe its an exaggeration. It is just my mind that is tormenting me. I don't feel so well that I am so scarred. So scarred that I have to dispose of all mirrors in my home. God, where are you? Is it my turn yet?

Are scars beautiful
In many old cultures, scars are deliberately inflicted to indicate a certain quality, eg. bravery, manhood, maturity, beauty, etc. I read in one website www.keloid_scars.org, that the African culture regards scars highly. So, here I am, with the upper torso covered in strands of scar tissues, I really look like Freddie in the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, no kidding. SO, I am thinking, should I cherish the scars and see them as a beautiful part of me? I mean, I did have a girlfriend, who often lick those scars during intercourse. I think she likes them. But why did she leaves if she likes them? Did it make her feel horny that she is having sex with a freak?
